Zac Brown Was Married to Shelly Brown for 12 Years
By chance, Zac started dating his Georgia State University alum and jewelry designer ex-wife, Shelly Brown. She had just finished college when their mutual friend introduced them to each other.
Their relationship was platonic until New Year’s Eve, when they attended a show his band played. That night, the musician had a date with someone else, but his date had stood him up, and he thought he would not kiss anyone into the new year.
Luckily for him, he kissed Shelly and immediately knew she was the one. The couple married in 2006, and during their time together, they welcomed five children.
