Billy Sites has been named as the suspect in the shooting outside the Red Roof Inn in Albemarle County, know the age and bio of the shooter

This was done by the Charlottesville Police Department. The 44-year-old white man from Albemarle County got into an argument with a detective before running away on foot and firing a few shots.

According to a press release from the police department, the suspect pointed a gun at several officers, who then shot him. After that, the suspect was taken to UVA Medical Center, where he later died from his injuries.

The police have found out that Billy Sites was the shooter and are now looking into what happened. With help from both the Charlottesville Police Department and the Albemarle County Police Department, the Virginia State Police are now in charge of the investigation.

Whole story in Red Roof Inn shooting

At around 10:05 a.m. on Tuesday, a detective from the Albemarle County Police Department saw a person who was wanted in the City of Charlottesville. As soon as the police tried to catch him, the suspect ran away on foot to a wooded area on Emmet Street near the 250 bypass.

A shooting was reported here at the Red Roof Inn on Mosside Blvd in Monroeville around 1:30 a.m. Then police were seen surrounding this black SUV outside of Allegheny General Hospital. A shelter-in-place order and a perimeter were set up, and the ACPD tactical team came to take over the perimeter. Shortly after that, the suspect ran through the woods towards a busy parking lot. Several attempts were made to use less deadly force, but none of them worked.

The suspect then pointed a gun at the officers. The officers shot the suspect in response. The suspect was in critical condition when he was taken to the UVA Medical Center, where he later died.

Billy Sites was named as the suspect in the shooting outside the Red Roof Inn in Albemarle County, Charlottesville, Virginia. In a press release, the police said that he was a 44-year-old white man from Albemarle County. The police have not said anything else about the shooter’s background or why he did what he did.

After the shooting, the area around Red Roof Inn was closed for a while. Which caused some traffic problems, but it was later reopened after the investigation.
