The lawsuit saw Herman, who was in a relationship with the celebrated golfer for six years, claim Woods and people working for his trust used “trickery” to make her leave the home by convincing her to go on a “short vacation”.

After taking her to the airport, they shocked her with lawyers that told her she had been locked out of the house.

In documents, Woods called Herman a “jilted ex-girlfriend” who was presenting a baseless case.

“Ms. Herman’s position is utterly meritless,” the documents state.

“It is a transparent abuse of the judicial process that undermines the purpose of the federal statute and those whom the statute seeks to protect.”

Woods claims that Herman checked the box for “NO” when asked “does this case involve allegations of sexual abuse” when she filed her lawsuit. The golfer also points out that Herman has never before made allegations of sexual abuse against him.

The entire suit has revealed that the pair, who first started dating in 2017, split in October last year.

Herman was first employed by Woods in 2015 before engaging with him romantically, and served as the General Manager of his flagship restaurant, The Woods, in Jupiter, Florida.

Woods claims that he provided Herman with “lodging and financial support” after their messy breakup.

In her original suit, Herman pushed back against Woods, claiming that the pair had an “oral agreement” that she could live at his Jupiter Island home for 11 years. She still had five years remaining per this agreement when Woods decided to end their relationship last year.

Based on the five years that Herman claims she had left to reside at the home, she is now demanding roughly $US30 million (approx. $45.5 million) from Woods’ trust.
