Rane should resign over leopard death: Chodankar

Panaji: Former Goa Congress president Girish Chondakar on Friday demanded the speedy sacking of forest minister Vishwajit Rane for failing to secure wild animals from poachers, following a leopard was killed in a snare at Coparde village.
“Vishwajit Rane has miserably unsuccessful to secure the endangered species and the forest at massive. I am deeply saddened with the news of a leopard currently being brutally murdered. The forest minister need to resign on ethical grounds as he failed to just take duty,” Chodankar said.
