Obituary: Gloria M. Martin

RAYMOND – Gloria M. Martin handed away, Dec. 19, 2022, just a few weeks soon after her 95th birthday, at Casco Inn in Casco. Gloria was born in Lewiston and lived and went to college in Mechanic Falls.

Gloria worked for diverse community companies right before operating with her partner at L.F. Martin and Son Wholesale Grocer in Raymond the place she led the business team and was instrumental in the company’s good results.

Lloyd and Gloria also experienced a transportation contract with the town of Raymond for transporting young children to college, and Gloria drove a minibus to assist out.

She liked to knit, crochet, make dolls and liked being a avid reader generally examining two books for every 7 days when her busy routine permitted. Africa, Australia, China, Brazil, the Mediterranean countries, and cruise ships were some of the most remembered vacations. But, their Florida house in North Miami Beach was wherever she and Lloyd were being most calm.

She was predeceased by partner, and love of her everyday living, Lloyd F. Martin, of 68 yrs also her sisters Pauline Teague, Janet Jackson, and Carolyn Harrahan also her moms and dads Villa and Ralph Cressey.

Gloria leaves a son Lloyd F. Martin Jr., and wife Annis Martin grandchildren Lloyd “Marty” Martin III, and spouse Malissa Martin,Bryon Newcomb and spouse Shannon Newcomb wonderful-grandchildren had been her favorite conversations, and they consist of Caleb, Payton, Jack, Layla, Liam, and Karis.
