Karima Jackson – Facts about the Life of Ice Cube’s Daughter
Ice Cube, born O’Shea Jackson, married Kim Woodruff in 1992 and had his first daughter, Karima Jackson, two years later in 1994.
However, Karima is not Ice Cube’s only child. She also has siblings, including O’Shea Jackson Jr, the other famous rapper and actor in the family, Darrell Jackson, and Shareef Jackson.
Despite being an adult, in 2020, Karima lived with her parents and younger brother, who has also kept himself out of the limelight. The siblings seem close to their father, who advises them and forbids them from using foul language in the house or in front of adults.

Karima Jackson Lived with Her Parents at Age 26
The marriage of Ice Cube and Kim Woodruff welcomed their third child and first daughter, Karima Jackson, on February 17, 1994. The couple married in 1992 after about three years of dating.
It was love at first sight when the rapper saw Karima’s mother for the first time. He told Graham Bensinger:
“When I saw her, something automatically went through my head that said, either that could be your woman or that should be your woman.”

Unfortunately for Ice Cube, Woodruff was dating someone else then, turning him down. However, he proved that you could never keep a good man down as, six months down the line, Karima’s father finally got his girl. A few years later, he put the icing on the cake by asking her to marry him.
During a 2007 interview with Blackfilm, Ice Cube said the children, whose ages ranged from teenagers to pre-teens, still thought their father was cool. They would ask for his advice on trendy things such as music and clothes.
In 2020, Ice Cube revealed that he was living with two of his children, Karima and Shareef, at his house. He also added that there was enough space in the home to get away from each other and plenty of common places to catch up.

Karima Jackson Can’t Curse at Home
When Karima was already past her teenage years, her father interviewed with Time Magazine, in which he detailed that his children were not allowed to curse at home. Although he admitted that he was aware his kids use foul language, they would get in serious trouble if their parents or any adult heard them.
Furthermore, one of the things Karima’s father usually advised his children was always to recognize opportunities. He said that opportunities will always come in life, but you either take them or leave them.
Despite being the child of a megastar in both the film and music industries, Karima has lived much of her life in the shadows. She is occasionally seen at various events alongside her family members.

Karima Jackson Has 3 Brothers
Karima’s oldest brother is the second most famous person in their family. O’Shea Jr. is quite the second coming of his father in looks and artistic talents. Born on February 24, 1991, he followed in his father’s footsteps by becoming an actor and rapper.
Among his most outstanding achievements in Hollywood include portraying his father in the 2015 biographical drama “Straight Outta Compton,” which followed the exploits of his father’s N.W.A days alongside the likes of Dr. Dre and Eazy-E. He also starred in the monster movie, “Godzilla: King of Monsters,” with Kyle Chandler.

Darrell is the second oldest of Ice Cube and Woodruff’s kids. He was born on December 29, 1992, eight months after his parents’ wedding. Like O’Shea, he has also followed his father’s path into hip hop, where he performs under the stage name, Doughboy. In 2010, he collaborated with his brother and father on “Ya’ll Know How I Am.”
Darrell’s employment experience includes working at a sub-label for the Universal Music Group called Lench Mob Records. Karima’s younger sibling is Shareef, born a year after her in 1995. He has also kept herself out of the limelight. Shareef is believed to be a huge basketball fan, as he is seen wearing NBA apparel on many occasions.
