Forspoken: The Best Parkour Magic Spells (& How to Get Them)

Forspoken: The Best Parkour Magic Spells (& How to Get Them)
Magic parkour is the key selling point of Forspoken, so obviously, the game has a lot of spell choices for players that launch Frey across the land.

The main draw of Forspoken is how the protagonist Frey uses magic parkour to travel around the strange world of Athia. It’s not the traditional jumping and climbing players may associate with parkour in big city environments, but it allows Frey to sprint across the land and look awesome while doing it. There are eight different magic parkour abilities to collect alongside the base Flow move, with some being essential to playing through Forspoken.
The parkour seen in Forspoken‘s previews mainly involved using Flow, the main parkour skill that lets Frey run fast. All other skills build on this ability, making it vital to all gameplay while being a general skill. Flow is fun to use and makes travel easy. It is also unlocked at the start of Chapter Two, so players don’t have to wait long before they can parkour throughout Forspoken.
Best Magic Parkour Skills To Learn in Forspoken

Rush is like Flow’s older sibling in terms of the best parkour abilities in Forspoken. It is a Fire spell whose Fount of Blessing can be found in the Golden Hills of Avoalet. Like all other spells, players must use their associated Fount of Blessing to unlock them. With Rush, players get a fiery speed boost when Frey flashes red, reducing the need to stop and regain stamina. It is the best way to cross vast distances and doesn’t require spending Mana in Forspoken like other spells.
Zip is also a fantastic parkour spell in Forspoken, as it is essentially a magic grappling hook. Players unlock Zip after defeating Tanta Sila, the first boss in the game fought during Chapter Five. When defeated, Frey absorbs her Cuff into her own and can use her magic. Zip helps launch Frey up cliffs and across the terrain by
latching onto yellow crystals and other objects. In addition, the spell can help dodge enemy attacks and loop around ledges.
In nearly any game with high ledges, players test out whether the game has fall damage or not. Forspoken does, but it can be avoided by using the parkour spell Float (or perhaps negated with a good roll of the Partha dice in Forspoken). The Fount of Blessing for Float can be found within a cave in Inner Visoria of Visoria. Although a late-game ability, Float creates a water platform under Frey which slows her descent. This spell allows players to survive falls from cliffs and cross canyons.
While all of these magic parkour spells in Forspoken are fantastic, that doesn’t mean the other spells are inferior. The more ways Frey can move through Forspoken‘s world, the better she can handle Athia’s challenges. Other important parkour spells include Glide to cross water, Cut And Run to perform cool backflips, Scale to help climb cliffs, and many more.
