Accused, a new crime drama, premiered on Fox in January this year and has already been able to carve its own among the audience. The series is based on the 2010 BAFTA-winning British series of the same name.

The show follows an anthology approach, with each episode featuring a new riveting case. The first season of the series has aired seven episodes so far, and audiences are eager to watch the next episode. Read on to find out when Accused season 1, episode 8, comes out.

The eighth episode of the first season of Accused is all set to air on Fox on Tuesday, March 14 at 9 pm ET / 8 pm CT / 6 pm PT. The episode, titled Laura’s Storywill be around 43 minutes long. The episode will be available to stream on Hulu a day later on March 15.

If you do not have access to cable, you can still watch the new episode live by logging into Fox’s website or app with your cable credentials. Alternatively, you can stream it on Hulu. The streaming platform offers a basic plan at $7.99 a month and an ads-free plan at $14.99 a month. It also offers a 30-day free trial to new customers.

Accused Season 1 Episode 8 Preview

Fox has launched a promo for the next week, which gives a glimpse of the storyline in the upcoming episode. The preview shows Emmy-nominated actress Molly Parker as a grieving mother who lost her son in a shooting. On the opposite side is the award-winning actress Margo Martindale, as the leader of a group who believes there was no shooting.

The courtroom drama soon gets intense, and Martindale is even seen taking out a pistol. The description for the episode reads, “A grieving mother learns that facts and evidence are no match for viral misinformation when she discovers a growing online conspiracy in the all-new Laura’s Story episode.” Watch the preview below.

Number of Episodes in Accused Season 1

The first season of Accused will comprise 15 episodes featuring 15 different stories. We will be halfway through the season with the upcoming episode, after which seven more installments will be left. Every episode comes up with new cast members. The finale will be released sometime in the summer of this year.

Fox has not yet announced if there will be another season of the show. The official synopsis for the show reads, “A crime anthology series where viewers are taken on the journey of the defendant. Each episode opens in a courtroom on the accused, with viewers knowing nothing about their crime or how they ended up on trial.”

“Told from the defendant’s point of view through flashbacks, “Accused” holds a mirror up to the current times with evocative and emotional stories. Viewers discover how an ordinary person gets caught up in an extraordinary situation, ultimately revealing how one wrong turn leads to another until it’s too late to turn back,” it reads further.
